Substance is a chair designed by Naoto Fukasawa for Magis, the base is made in steel tube and the seat are made in polypropylene.

Substance is a collection of chairs and armchairs with frame or steel tube painted in polyester or in natural or painted ash wood, the seat is always in polypropylene available in different colors.

The Japanese designer so willed tells the collection Substance "I decided to undertake the project of a chair whose legs are a simple cross of two" U ", on which I then wanted to put on a simple body. The unique mixture of curved as the legs and the lower part of the body bent give this chair a sensation friendly.

it is normal to have a chair with legs that are an extension of the body, while in Substance these details curved create a cool character. I think we were able to create a chair sustainab

Frame in steel tube painted in polyester powder.
