The starting point for the design of the Trek lamp designed by Tapio Anttila has been the uniform distribution of downward light without glare. Lightness and thinness have been applied to the exterior, so that it does not control too much space and obscure the view. The design language has also been inspired by the visuals of the 70s Star Trek series.

The flat reflection shield diffuses the light efficiently. Innolux has renewed the Trek series in cooperation with Anttila - e.g. the upper dome of the lamps is now thinner, it is made of metal, and the fastening mechanism is therefore easier to use and of higher quality.
