Originally designed in 1971, the Panthella has since become one of Verner Panton’s most important designs. The recognizable, soft organic shape of the table lamp is not only beautiful but also functional. The semi-circular shade directs the light downwards onto the trumpet-shaped base, which reflects the light evenly. The Panthella 160 Portable V2 is a small and portable version of Verner Panton’s classic design. The shade has a diameter of only 160 mm. It is perfect for use in the home.

  • Verner Panton

The Danish architect Verner Panton caused a stir in the 60ies and kept on designing successful products until his death in 1998. Times they were a-changin? - and Panton’s innovatory ideas and daring use of modern materials and lavish colours were an instant hit. Panton became synonymous with sensational textile, furniture and lighting design. Works like the ‘Cone Chair’ and the ‘Globe Light’ are eternal Scandinavian design icons!
