Markus explains about his work with design and product development: "My goal is to create products that are different and unusual in shape as well as function. I try to find inspiration from numerous environments and by means of analyzing and processing, I conclude that Design, for me, has to be a perfect combination of construction function and form, which conveys emotions, that subtly affects us as humans, while simultaneously, enhances our daily experiences and also, embodies lasting values." His first collaboration with LE KLINT has resulted in a new series of lighting called CARRONADE originally based on the idea of a table lamp with a distinctive playful yet challenging shape, as a small cannon.
