Normann Copenhagen is a way of living - a mindset. We love to challenge the conventional design rules. This is why you will find traditional materials put into untraditional use such as a Stone Hook made of Icelandic stones, a vase made out of silicon and last but not least a dog made out of plastic.
Zieta's main goal is to deliver uniqueness and customization in design and constructions while keeping the production, transport and warehousing innovatively efficient.
This is how they imagine the future world: Light, durable structures of customized applications produced on demand out of one-of-a-kind parts, yet efficiently.
They use computer controlled production process. Customized pattern, customized form, customized function, one-of-a-kind product and outstanding precision are what we deliver.
You will find all of this philosophy reflected in our products. We research, we discover new possibilities, we play with forms and we deliver a beautiful, innovative, surprising outcome to people who love design and who care about the design development.
They believe their work is a valuable contribution to the world of design not only by the unique beauty of our forms but most of all by opening ultra-innovative opportunities of forming and new paths for the world of future.
DESIGN AND CRAFTSMANSHIP THROUGH 3 GENERATIONS
At Bent Hansen we make it a point of honour that the quality of the craftsmanship and the materials shines through, and that our furniture expresses the simplicity and honesty that is forever in fashion.
CEO and designer Henrik Hvid Hansen is the innovative force behind the company Bent Hansen. Surrounded by qualified craftsmen, he has the best opportunities to try out new ideas and test different kinds of leather and textiles.
Through it’s 60 years of experience the company Bent Hansen has always considered solid workmanship of great importance. Back in 1948 Henrik Hvid Hansen’s grandfather, upholsterer Svend Hansen, founded the company. Back then the key competence was restoring old furniture.
In 1967 Svend Hansen’s son, Bent Hansen, took over the company. He expanded the business and started manufacturing interior for restaurants, hotels and ships.
In 1983 third generation, Henrik Hvid Hansen was ready to enter the family company. As an upholsterer like his father and grandfather before him and deeply fascinated by modern design Henrik has turned Bent Hansen into a modern design company with its own line of furniture design and home accessories.
