The Italian lighting design firm
One of the global leaders in lighting striving to constantly create innovative cutting edge design.
Founded in Milan in 1993, NEMO represents, within the design lighting producers’ scenario, a benchmark name, going back to the roots of innovation that always inspired Italian design. The collection of contemporary design includes models conceived by Carlo Forcolini, Jehs + Laub, Javier Mariscal, Karim Rashid, Ilaria Marelli, Foster+Partners, Hannes Wettstein and Roberto Paoli.
Italian architect, Tiziana Redavid, got inspiration for her range of stainless steel jewelry when she visited a friend who manufactured industrial springs.
Taking samples, she viewed them with her fresh imagination, and was struck by the similarity with African ornamentation.
She uses African design for her inspiration. Molla is Italian for spring and she has taken this as her trade mark.
Mal is a young Dutch, Eindhoven based design label by Bob Copray and Niels Wildenberg.
Mal is inspired by the icons of the past that have influenced our way of looking at the world today.
By placing the icon into a new context a whole new product has arised.
After the Lounge set 1956, the 2.25 meter high lamp Lummel and the cushion set Killing me Softly, Mal now comes with the carpet Yeswecan, the exclusive MalClock Chamber NYC and the charming Sweater.
The products of Mal are cool to use indoor but some of them are also suited for domestic exterior use.
