The history of the company dates as far back as 1913, but the Eva brand had its major breakthrough in 1952 with a bread and meat slicing machine that went on to become a design classic. Alessi was founded in 1921 as a “Workshop for the processing of brass and nickel silver sheet metal, with foundry”, Alessi has always stood out for the high quality of its products. In almost a century of history, the company has gradually evolved to become one of the leading “Factories of Italian design.
Magis Me Too
In 2004, „Me Too“ was launched. „Me Too” is a collection of objects and furniture for children between two and six years.
The renowned, Italian design manufacturer Magis was able to engage several famous designers like Björn Dahlström, Eero Aarnio, Marcel Wanders or Enzo Mari.
The range of products offers a diverse program: furniture, accessory, toys and even children’ clothes. All products are robust, sturdy and do not set any borders for the creativity of the kids.
Children like to play, to influence creatively and to discover their surrounding and the world. Tables which they can design themselves, shelves which can always be changed or crannies for in- and outside are aiming at those desires of the kids.
PETITE FRITURE, design editor created in 2009, was born with the will to promote young talents, and to develop with them a collection of objects, lighting and small furniture that creates a vibration. The result are elegant and accessible objects that in a simple and uninhibited manner tell a story; objects that understand our daily life and invite us to savor it.
