Andrea Incontri

Andrea Incontri graduated in Architecture in 1971 and his experience embraces both design and research. Andrea Incontri's point of view does not create specific categories but aesthetic visions which can be measured through the sensitive identity of personal experience. His experience as a researcher (Première Vision for fabrics), designer (Fratelli Rossetti, AI_, ADD, Pontoglio 1883, Samsung) and teacher (Henkel, Wella, L’Oréal, Nivea for Milan Polytechnic and the European Institute of Design) helps to acquire a special language that focuses on social custom and attitudes towards the space occupied by objects whether they are handcrafted or industrial products. Since 2008 he has been working with Laura Polinoro for Alessi on developing new types of product.
