Spectrum

1941: ORIGINATED FROM RESISTANCE

As a result of the Second World War, weaving mill De Ploeg has a shortage of raw materials. 'T Spectrum was founded in 1941 to prevent the employment of staff. Gerrit Rietveld is appointed by 't Spectrum director Piet Blijenburg as a member of the collection's assessment committee
