Unica is a unique hanging lamp, hence its name, is made through a complex and ancient process of molding sand used by sculptors in bronze , aluminum ,Sogni's Unica is described as a product with “A unique and unrepeatable stream of light” (Antonangeli 2011). Available in sand-cast aluminium with several finishes; shiny polished aluminium, cast iron with gold or silver. This luminaire utilizes a halogen exterior combined with energy efficient LED strip interior and operates via a double switch feature to control light output.
