This Chili Scruncher brings to mind the famous red chili-shaped good luck charm from Naples. In a delicate, “ biological design” it unites two very different senses: the tender softness of transparent rubber and the hard elegance of polished steel. “PICCANTINO” chops, spreads and stores chili. It was conceived to solve the problem this irritating spice presents of coming into direct contact with the skin and mucous membranes.

Jim Hannon Tan

Jim Hannon-Tan was born in Santiago de Compostela Spain in 1975 and grew up in Australia. Jim has been based in Milan since 2001 and has collaborated with Stefano Giovannoni, Sebastian Bergne, Jozeph Forakis and George J Sowden. He finds inspiration in new technologies and cultural misunderstandings.
