Alessi Dressed Breakfast Plate, sold by 4, price per plate,Decoration, like a beautiful dress, should never be overwhelming. For those who love their breakfast (and not only), Marcel Wanders has created a series of additional articles for the “Dressed” service presented in 2011.

This big collection reveals one of the typical traits of Wanders’ language, where ancient shapes and style features are echoed in a totally contemporary interpretation. He proposes a number of classic breakfast products together with more versatile pieces that can also be used on other occasions.

User-friendly, they are must-have elements for those who cannot sit down without first setting the table properly.

The series includes a Breakfast plate (1) and a Latte macchiato spoon. Characterised by the classic “Dressed” decoration, the plate has two sections, one for the eggc up or a cup, the other for bread soldiers or biscuits. The Spoon, with his long handle decorated with the “Dressed” pattern, is suitable also for tall glasses.

Two other pieces of cutlery round out the series: a Butter knife and a Tea spoon. The series also includes other articles for serving: a Jam tray, a Butter dish, a Sugar bowl, a Creamer and a Egg cup joined by a Spoon with soft boiled egg opener. Marcel Wanders has also come up with other containers: a series of storage Jars in four different sizes and a Biscuit jar.
