Alessi  Cronotime Clock Black by Pio Manzu It is time for revival and the revivalists are all set to get on the jobs! First it was the Harri Koskinen’s block lamp which was created in 1996 and now the Cronotime Clock, Pio Manzú, 1966.

  • It was originally designed by Fiat, the Italian automobile and industrial designer in 1966 and has been revived for the US of A by Alessi.
  • The rotating body and dial, which can be fixed towards any direction, give a wide variety of enriched expressions to this table clock. 
  • It Features Seiko precision movement in white ABS polymer and hence it is very easily legible!

  • Pio Manzu

    Pio Manzù born in Bergamo in 1939, son of the sculptor Giacomo, he studied at the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Ulm. In 1962 together with Michael Conrad, he won the competition held by Revue Automobile for a new concept of coupé to be applied on the Austin Healey 100 chassis.In 1968 he entered the Centro Stile FIAT as consultant, devoting himself with the study of small sized cars. He died in 1969.
