Coat stand in wood and thermoplastic resin, white or dark grey

The lightness of stability.

Pauline Deltour amazes once again with an article that combines lightness and stability. Behind its lightweight, linear design, the “Pierrot” Coat

stand is surprisingly steady. The designer imagined it as an object for assembly and therefore practical to transport once purchased. The pole and

three joints that make up the central part are already assembled, while the other nine elements that form the legs and hooks need to be added.

“Pierrot” is easy to assemble, the different pieces slotting into the holes on the joints for simple completion (1). The secret behind its stability lies

in the alignment of the three legs with the six little rods that act as clothes pegs. This alignment is ensured by the position of the holes in the three

joint elements that allow for the correct assembly of the clothes stand. Each of the six pegs can hold up to five kilos of clothes without any loss of

stability. The “Pierrot” is made from beech wood and comes in two versions: with white or dark grey joints).
