Characteristics / Suggested use. -Produced at the factory in Crusinallo, Omegna, the “Bark for Christmas” tree, like the other items in this collection, demonstrates Alessi's skill in processing steel -“Bark for Christmas” is produced with a cutting and laser perforating process on the steel sheet, which is subsequently shaped -Available in three versions: steel with polished finish, red or white painted finish -Offered as a set comprising a steel tree and seven magnetic decorations produced in porcelain with a polished finish.
The decorations kit includes a gold shooting star and six baubles in three different colours: gold, silver and red. Each magnet has a scratchproof protection designed to maintain the tree's polished surface -The magnetic decorations can be used to adorn and personalise the tree with photographs, Christmas cards or other items, turning “Bark for Christmas” into a poetic repository for cherishing precious souvenirs and memories -Stable thanks to the large oval base designed to accommodate a tealight or other small Christmas decorations

Born in Belgium in 1967, from a Belgian mother and Tunisian father. She worked as a model and as an Architect in Tunis and Brussels. She now mainly works as a Sculptor and painter in Lucca-Tuscany. She also works as a designer with her husband Michel Boucquillon for Alessi and Martinelliluce.
