Fred gets up steam! When it gets colder outside, we heat our homes: the relative humidity falls.

We, our furniture, plants and furnishings suffer in this dry environment.
To counteract this Fred gets up steam - making us feel comfortable again.
Fred is clean - because the steam is free of minerals and bacteria.
With its feet in heavy, chromed-plated zinc, Fred's feet are firmly on the ground.
Fred has an automatic shut-off when the water is finished. We can only supply the European 220V version.

This is the older version and is only still available in black and white.

Designer Information

Max and Fred are designed by the talented Swiss designer Matti Walker from Zug, Switzerland. He has been running his own studio for graphic art and design since 1991. Since his studies at the School of Heinrich Frieling, Matti has become and expert in colours, and he developed strong skills for 3 dimensional forms that are emotionally appealing.

Tracking Packages
If your order has been shipped, you can, in most cases, track your shipment by clicking directly on the country link below. Please note that countries that are not listed can't be traced on line at the moment. Also parcels sent by registered mail can't be traced online (mainly watches). If it is important for you to be able to track a parcel please contact us before placing the order and we will give you a shipping quote. Our method of shipping has proved to be very reliable and although delays do occur mainly due to customs we feel that our shipping methods give the best value for our customers.

The number of days to deliver the parcel is only an indication. If a package is delayed it usually has to do with customs.

Some oversized items have a special shipping fee, our site won't automatically calculate these shipping fees. This is indicated in the product description. Please contact us for a shipping quote.

Items may be shipped by a variety of carriers. The majority of our items are shipped via Dutch Priority mail ( TNT Post) and Fedex but we also use DHL and a number of other carriers depending on your individual needs.
