Bedini Raco Settimelli, “IS and Out Space srl” was born in 2001 as a Design company. His interdisciplinary background goes from Design to space research. The components of the team “IS” are Daniele Bedini “chief designer’, Alessandro Giacomelli A. d., Massimiliano Settimelli and Bruno Racó, all designers. The activities of “IS” are numerous and range from Total Design to the development of single products, from art direction for industries of design to the development of scientific/technological research, advanced space projects, educational and promotional activities as well as the participation in research integrated programs regarding space, outdoor environments and the transfer of technology, in particular “Total Design” and “Art Direction” for prestigious industrial realities such as: Guzzini Illuminazione, Ceramic Bardelli, Mandarina Duck, Slide, Zazzeri fittings etc. In the didactic field, “IS” through its president, architect Daniele Bedini, is involved in courses of “Space Design” at the International Space University – ISU – of Strasbourg and the Royal College af Art – RCA – in London.
