With the “Carmeta” Biscuit box, Lluís Clotet enriches the family of objects developed around “Foix” , the Round tray designed in 1994. Intrigued by the capricious creases of a silver paper tray, in this first project Clotet managed to reproduce the same effect by shaping steel.

After “Foix” the Catalan designer created a successful series of table and kitchen objects whose creased surface was obtained thanks to a complex technique involving the cold pressing of a sheet of stainless steel. Intriguing plastic effects can therefore be seen in all of the items in the series, such as the “Sarriá” and “Port” Baskets, the “Francesca” Hors-d'oeuvre dish or "Julieta" Kitchen box series.

The “Carmeta” Biscuit box joins the collection, reproducing the unmistakable motif of the creased sheet metal in its 18/10 lid.
