Marco Ferreri

Marco Ferreri was born in 1958 in Imperia (Italy), and graduates in architecture in 1981 at the Politecnico di Milano, the city where he lives and works since 1984. There are several fields of interest in his research project, it ranges from industrial design to graphics, from architecture to installations. Many of its objects are gathered in important collections of design such as the “Permanent Design Collection” of the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the permanent collection of design at the Israel Museum in Jerusalem, the collection Fund of Contemporary Art in Paris and in important private collections. His work has won several awards and listings: the chair “Less” produced by “Nemo” and the “Libroletto” (designed by Bruno Munari were selected for the Compasso d’Oro, the broom “Titi” won the Design Plus award 2000, the chair “Leaf” by Novecentoundici was selected for the Red Dot Award in 2002. Member of the group of Architects Milan, Partner A. D. I. and associate of BEDE/Bureau of European Designers Association he has given lectures at important universities in Italy and abroad. He teaches at the Polytechnical of Milan, at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera and the Free University of Bolzano.
