Gesa Meeder
Gesa Meeder decided to become a product designer during a
year she spent working on projects in London. In 1996, she graduated from the
University of Applied Sciences and Arts for Design and Media in Hanover, writing
her diploma thesis on "The mobile bathroom". Accordingly, her
professional career began at Adolf Babel, a design office specialising and
highly experienced in the sanitary segment. Gesa Meeder was responsible for
various successful projects here. In particular the ZERO bath tub, which was
developed jointly with the Hoesch company, received numerous national and
international design awards.
When working with stainless steel it is important to Gesa Meeder that the
material is enlivened with specific details and contrasts while always retaining
a clear and reduced design language. The ZACK bathroom series CIVIO and FOCCIO
as well as the comprehensive CONTAS series were designed by her.
Gesa Meeder has been working as a product designer for ZACK since the year 2000.
