UNStudio lays architecture on the table, turning it into a man-size structure, to liaise directly with the body and with its sense of touch. The “Giro” cutlery set takes its shape and indeed its name from the distinguishing feature of architectural designs by the Dutch studio: the propeller.
Adapted and resized, a curve characterises and gives shape to this set, starting at the handle and winding its way up the body of each individual piece of cutlery. An ergonomic profile is gradually defined, giving rise to a dynamic motion. Balancing modernity and classical shapes, the “Giro” cutlery set is capable of making any table interesting/ special and unique.
