Andreas Saxer

Born in 1975 in Peru. After his apprenticeship as dressmaker, he completed two years Fashion Studies at the University of Art and Design Zurich. After a pause, during which he in Furniture trade was active, he continued his studies in industrial design continues on the Zurich University of Arts. After graduating in 2003 he worked in the area of ​​study Industrial Design ZHdK in a 40% quota. Since 2006 he has worked independently in Zurich for companies in the furniture industry as well as for cultural institutions. In addition to his furniture and lighting designs for clients such as Studio Domo, Cosicome, Mox, Bystronic, Fideadesign, Andreas Saxer also designed exhibitions and stage as eg "digital ornament" in the foyer of the Museum of Design Zurich, or stage sets for Swiss television.
